HELPFUL TIPS TO GET YOU STARTED

1.     Use a worsted weight yarn, either wool or wool/acrylic blend.

2.     When practicing use a light coloured yarn as it is easier to see and count your stitches.

3.     Use an aluminium hook as they are easier to work with than plastic or bamboo.

4.     Hold your hook like a pen or a knife.

5.     Give your hands and wrists a break and a stretch every now and then.

6.     Check your posture and keep your shoulders down and relaxed Practice makes perfect

7.     Count and mark your stitches

8.     Keep an eye on your tension
